THE PERSON WITH THE OLDEST BIRTH DATE

Conrad Heyer was born in 1749, and was 103 when he was photographed. This means that the photograph was taken roughly around 1852, it wasn’t one of the earliest photos ever taken.

So, what makes a picture of a really old guy so important? Well, Conrad Heyer is the person with the oldest birth date to have their photograph taken.

Heyer lived to see the Industrial Revolution, French Revolution, the War of 1812, the Napoleonic Wars, a year without summer, the invention of the telegraph, railroad, steamboat, and the list goes on and on!

He even saw George Washington with his own eyes when he fought for him during the Revolutionary War! Click the link to read more about this incredible old man.
