Platypus Babies
These babies have just hatched from eggs! The platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus) is an unusual egg-laying mammal native to Australia, with a duck-like bill and a tail like a beaver.
The platypus is also one of 6 venomous mammals in the world. The others all deliver venom through their saliva, but the male platypus has a special horny spur on the inside of it's heel, used to attack.
